Friday Grilling on the Deck

Matt came over for some Settlers but we’re short on peeps, so it’s just a quiet evening on the deck. Flowers are all from my garden!

Bees on the Towpath

A few weeks ago (prior to busting my tailbone and becoming useless on a bicycle), Jim and I ventured out to the Towpath in Massillon and took a quick bike ride to feel out whether I’d like to start biking or not, and I took the XSi along to take any photographs that might jump out at me.
I ended up getting a few shots of some bees that were hovering over the flowers that lined the creek. This is my favorite:

Taking pictures of these bees forced me to put aside my fear of bugs because I only have the kits lens that came with my camera and I had to get pretty darn close to take these shots!
